Heat Deburring Equipment

EXPLOIT is the name of the new thermal deburring machine designed and built by SGM ltd. The advanced technology used for the construction of this machine is the main driving force of our company and it is certainly a landmark in this sector.

Designing EXPLOIT machine with the most up-to-date technology has allowed us to build an extraordinary resistant machine that guarantees high performances with a limited maintenance work. These features have also beneficial effects minimizing the costs when investing in this technology.

EXPLOIT is a project conceived with the aim to achieve the utmost flexibility in terms of use: the system is composed by a deburring mobile chamber, open at the ends in order to facilitate both charge and discharge processes at the same time.

EXPLOIT is produced in two versions:

• One version for high production capacities and smaller and medium loads , which comes equipped with a double chamber in its standard dimensions (diameter 260mm and useful length 226mm). In this version, the machine allows deburring various parts alternatively and simultaneously or it is useable with a single working area simply by excluding the other.

• Our second option is an equipment with a single chamber (lenghth up to 400 mm ) designed to meet the standards of much heavier objects, more than 20 kg, which require a more adequate loading and unloading system.

EXPLOIT has a deburring shape that notably minimizes the risks of violent shifts of the pieces (and possible dents). Therefore it also reduces the necessity of installing tools inside the chamber to keep the treated parts tightened and in order.

Ergonomic electronics combined to interface touch screen applications have succeeded in creating an adaptable and easy to handle machine. It is also possible to perform remote diagnostics analysis on it that allows distant restoratives operations.

EXPLOIT has an innovative patented downloading system that carries out a double function:

• if the combustion process does not take place, it allows to safely release gaseous mixture;

• if the combustion process takes place, it clears the gas waste reducing the amount of solid particles discharge into the air produced by the thermal deburring process.
prevents any possible sublimation of the material.

Pickling and Washing Post Treatment Plants

After the thermal deburring treatment takes places, it is adviseable in most conditions to remove the oxidation produced by means of a special pickling process and also protect the treated parts from corrosion.

With our experience in this process we introduce new modular equipment manufactered by LGF that can handle parts in a reliable, delicate and simple way. These equipments are versatile and strong machines, easy to handle and with a high productivity outcomes.
